The genesis of Parfait's musical journey goes back to his teenage years when he started using rhymes and rap music to express his  frustration with society. At 13, after migrating from one West African country to another, Parfait  felt the ostracizing effects of being labelled "a foreigner". Quickly, music became a tool for protest against man-to-man cruelty.
The music continued to evolve with influences from Reggae, world music and North American blues and pop. when at 24m Parfait picked up the guitar and began writing songs to help process and document his experience as a world traveler.

His life story as an inspiration and motivated by a genuine love for music and influenced by an array of musical traditions,  Parfait sketches through words and melodies, his most naked introspections. You are in for a treat!!!
